The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Program Purpose: The purpose of this program is to provide healthcare team members with a review management for Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), which is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that is often recalcitrant to treatments. Patients do not consistently receive accurate information about their condition and frequently experience a delay in treatment. This activity will review how to recognize and diagnose HS, medication management, and procedure management for HS patients.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:

Recognize and diagnosis Hidradenitis Suppurativa.
Describe the medication management for Hidradenitis Suppurativa.
Describe the procedural management for Hidradenitis Suppurativa.
