Stephanie Kimmerling

Stephanie Kemmerling is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who works at
Spicewood Dermatology in Austin, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from The
University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Prior to specializing
in dermatology, she worked for several years in family practice, pediatrics,
and emergency medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Lamar
University, in Beaumont, Texas, where she graduated with honors and received
recognition for outstanding community service and leadership. She is
certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of The
Dermatology Nurses’ Association and The National Academy of Dermatological
Nurse Practitioners. She also serves on the Board of Directors and holds the
position of Secretary for the Austin Area Advanced Practice Nurses. As a nurse
practitioner with advanced education in dermatology, she is licensed and
qualified to perform comprehensive dermatologic exams and has received specialized
training in dermatologic procedures and advanced wound care. Stephanie has
served as a faculty member for both Lamar University and The University of
Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she taught in the public health and
nurse practitioner programs. She brings her love of teaching to her
patients by spending time providing education about their skin
conditions. She enjoys seeing both adults and children and has a special
interest in psoriasis, acne, eczema and skin cancer.
