The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the use and safety monitoring of Biologic Response Modifiers in patients with moderate to severe psoriasis.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify risks and benefits associated with biologic response modifier medications for patients with moderate to severe psoriasis
  • Identify what parameters are recommended for monitoring patients of biologic response modifier medication as defined by the BRM monitoring protocol
  • Discuss how an EMR biologic monitoring template can be used to improve provider monitoring compliance
  • Discuss future implications for the use of BRM monitoring protocols within practicing facilities
