Program Purpose: The dermatology nurse will be able to articulate the most recent molecular targets for psoriasis therapy and the most recently identified psoriasis comorbidities.
Learning Objectives Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:
Explain the pathophysiology and clinical manifestation of psoriasis vulgaris.
Identify 5 essential treatment targets for the treatment of psoriasis.
(RX)Describe pharmacokinetics, medication classifications, indications, actions and dosages of at least 3 medications used in the treatment of psoriasis.
