The purpose of this activity is to discuss with other healthcare providers and patients the pathogenesis of HS and how treatment is aligned with this.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of hidradenitis suppurativa
  • Describe the acute and chronic pharmacotherapeutic approaches to managing hidradenitis suppurativa with a comparison to procedural interventions. (20 minutes RX)
  • Explain current evidence-based research to the pathogenesis and management of hidradenitis suppurativa.
