Update in Pediatric Dermatology

Important topics in pediatric dermatology will be reviewed and updated including beta blockade for the treatment of hemangiomas; new topical and systemic medications for atopic dermatitis; and approaches to common cutaneous infections including warts and molluscum.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Describe two new therapeutic options for AD in children released within the last 12 months.
  • Evaluate the off label usage of these new agents in young children.
  • Discuss emerging agents in the pipeline for pediatric dermatologic patients.
