Hair loss: A Practical Approach to Diagnosis and Management is one hour lecture created with the intention to discuss the clues for th diagnosis of the most common alopecias and to provide the newest therapies for the management of these diseases.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Recognize the clues for the diagnosis of different types of alopecias.
  • Describe topical and systemic drug management including the pharmacokinetics, dosing, duration of treatment and potential adverse reactions. 
  • Counsel patient on approaches to relieve psychosocial aspects of hair loss.
