The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program is designed for NPs/APRNs who would like to learn more about surgically treating skin cancer in the office setting, including basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Indications for referring out complicated skin cancers to Mohs Surgery, Oncology, Radiation, and General Surgery will also be discussed.

Program Purpose:
The purpose of this program is to assist NPs/APRNs increase their knowledge regarding surgically treating skin cancer in the office setting, including basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Indications for referring out complicated skin cancers to Mohs Surgery, Oncology, Radiation, and General Surgery will also be discussed.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:
· Identify various types of skin cancers.
· Treat various types of skin cancer within their scope of practice.
· Identify treatment options and gold standards for various types of skin cancer within their scope of practice.
· Recognize high risk patient, and most appropriate treatment options.
