The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program will help nurses discover if they are experiencing burnout or emotional fatigue that inhibit their abilities in the workplace. They will discover the new science behind the importance of self-compassion and how relevant it is to their emotional well-being.

Program Purpose:
The purpose of this program is to help nurses discover if they are experiencing burnout or emotional fatigue that inhibit their abilities in the workplace. They will discover the new science behind the importance of self-compassion and how relevant it is to their emotional well-being.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:

Identify symptoms of burnout and respond with self-compassion techniques.
Employ self-compassion and mindfulness techniques to increase both resiliency and a sense of recovery.
Recognize the emotional and psychological cues from patients and respond with compassion and empathy, leading to positive patient outcomes.
