ACCREDITATION STATEMENT:
The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Program Purpose: The purpose of this program is to provide healthcare team members a review of dermatologic emergencies in pediatric patients. The goal of this activity is to enhance learner knowledge in identifying rashes that require emergency care and distinguish them from those that can be managed as an outpatient.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:
· Identify dermatology emergencies in pediatric patients.

Off-LABEL PRODUCT DISCLOSURE
This activity includes discussion on off-label treatment options for reactive infectious mucocutaneous eruption (RIME) including cyclosporine, immunology medications, as there is no FDA approved treatment for pediatric patients with RIME.
