PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Program Purpose: A medical professional with legal education will highlight some legal issues that can ensnare dermatology care providers, including nurses and nurse practitioners.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:

Identify significant elements that must be present for a professional to be held liable for malpractice.
Analyze strategies nurses can use to reduce their likelihood of being sued for malpractice
