The Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

To Receive Credit:

2. Complete/submit the post test and evaluation.
3. Receive a passing score of 70% or more to receive credit.
4. Print out your certificate, as well as save it to your computer.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Program Purpose: Learners should be able to diagnose HS, and initiate first-line therapy for HS

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational program, the participant should be able to:

• Discuss the clinical management of hidradenitis suppurativa.
• (RX) Identify at least 3 classes of medications used to treat hidradenitis suppurativa, with emphasis on pharmacokinetics, dosing and side effects.
